Shipping policy

General Pre-Order Policy

Applies to Shipping, Local Pickup, and Local Delivery.

  • If an order includes both in-stock items and pre-order items, the entire order will be held until the pre-order product is ready to fulfill.

  • If you need in-stock items sooner, please place a separate order for those items.

  • Pre-orders are fulfilled (shipped, made ready for pickup, or scheduled for delivery) within 5 - 7 business days of the date specified on the product listing.

  • If no date is listed, then the pre-order will be fulfilled 5 - 7 business days after the purchase date

Shipping Policy

  • Non-pre-order items are processed and handed off to the carrier within 2 business days of receiving payment.

  • Transit time is typically 5–7 business days after dispatch.

  • We are not responsible for transit delays once a package is with the carrier. If you experience issues with your shipment, please reach out to andres@thecardboardcosmos.com for assistance.

Local Pickup Policy

Local pickup is available by appointment during the following windows:

  • Monday – Friday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Sunday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

How Pickup Works:

  1. You will receive a "Ready for Pickup" email as soon as your items are packed.

  2. The notification email contains a link to select your pickup window. A scheduled appointment is required before arrival.

  3. Please present your order confirmation email (digital or printed) when collecting your items.

Note: Fulfillment and handoffs are scheduled around dedicated windows. We cannot accommodate unscheduled drop-ins or arrivals outside of your chosen time slot.

Local Delivery Policy

Local delivery is available for orders of $50 or more within our designated local service zone during these weekend windows:

  • Saturday: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

  • Sunday: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

How Delivery Works:

  1. Local delivery will automatically show as an option at checkout for eligible addresses.

  2. Order Cutoff:

    • Orders placed by Friday at 12:00 PM are eligible for delivery during the upcoming weekend.

    • Orders placed after Friday at 12:00 PM will be scheduled for the following weekend.

  3. You will receive an "Out for Delivery" email when your order is on the route, followed by a confirmation email once dropped off.

Note: We cannot guarantee minute-by-minute arrival times. If no one is home, packages will be left in your mailbox (if space permits) or at your front door. Please include gate or entry codes in the order notes at checkout.
